Nice hotel, very modern, good location just blocks from the tram or commuter train line; very pleasant and helpful staff and world-class restaurant!

This is a great hotel, a block-and-a-half from the metro and close to everything. Even though it's on a main drag, it's very quiet. All rooms have a small kitchen in case you'd like to save money on food.
3. Prado Museum (Museo del Prado)
More of a must-see than a love-to-see; you need to be able to check it off the list, but the collection isn't the most incredible.
4. Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum (Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza)
One of the most beautiful collections imaginable, if you like Impressionists, Post-Impressionists, Fauves, Expressionists and more! Quiet, new and beautiful!
Big, old-fashioned art museum with a huge and varied collection. Well worth the visit!
6. Guggenheim Museum Bilbao
Even if you never went inside, the trip to Bilbao would be worth it just to see the architecture of this building! It's heartening to know that art can turn the fortunes of a city around. Bilbao, once a fading industrial city, is now a thriving hub for art and architecture.
One of the most amazing bridges you can imagine, built by architect Santiago Calatrava in Bilbao after the Guggenheim was opened. The footbed is glass!!!
