A perfect day in this underrated city!

This is the main square, the four sides of which are created by outrageously
beautiful buildings -- a palace, a cathedral, etc. There are cafes
along its sides, and walking off any of the corners of the Grande Place
leads you to restaurants and more cafes. Just look for the tall,
golden-lit white spire to keep your bearing when you stray away from
the Grande Place.
A beautiful, peaceful, and meticulously planned and kept museum. Well worth a visit.
3. The Brussels Park
Walk around this enormous, leafy park and see little ponds and perfectly arranged paths lined by orderly trees. A beautiful escape.
4. Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula
A beautiful cathedral that's worth a visit as you walk around the city. Even just seeing the outside is awe-inspiring and seems to enduce a feeling of peace.
5. Mussels in Brussels!
Do not forget to stop by a cafe and have some mussels in white wine or marinara sauce. Have a glass of wine and sit outside on one of the crowded streets and watch the sun set. But beware: shop around. Some places are much cheaper than others.
6. Gauffres de Bruxelles
Conclude your day with perhaps the most cliche thing of all: a Belgian Waffle. If you exit towards the train station, there is a restauarant that advertises its "Gauffres" in large letters -- they have a take-out window of sorts from which you can order a warm treat to go, which will come topped however you like, in a small cardboard holder that isn't nearly big enough for the sweet dessert. Bon Appetit!
