Why Buffalo is such a great city to visit, especially during the summer!

| One of the best (personal opinion here) Italian restaurants in Buffalo. Many people may agree or disagree, but just look at any of the signed photos from sports stars, musicians, and actors/actresses, and you will know immediately that this is not just a hometown favorite, but also a national favorite. |

3. Shakespeare in the Park
| Professional Shakespeare plays put on in beautiful Delaware Park, which is one of Frederick Law Olmstead's beautiful parks. |

| A very large (two story) mall, with stores ranging from JcPenneys, and Sears, to Lord and Taylor and DSW. A food court, and a movie theater make it a destination for shopping, eating and entertainment all year round. |

| A local arts area with many funky/artsy/etc. shops. It is a preservation district, with many cool old buildings and homes. |

6. Albright-Knox Art Gallery
| A wonderful gallery that contains many well known paintings. Several major art showings a year. Free friday nights at the gallery with many different local talents, from documentarys to local salsa bands. |

7. Elmwood Avenue/Village
| A local "area" with many things to do, ranging from shopping to food. |

| Located outside of the city of Buffalo, NY in Lewiston, it is definitely worth the drive. To go see any of the music shows or plays/musicals they offer, they are excellent, and definitely worth the drive. |

9. Shea's Performing Arts Center
| Putting on everything from concerts to plays, Shea's is the place to go in the city for the nationally famous plays/musicals. From Phantom of the Opera to Rent, this is definitely the place to go in the city. |

| For a smaller venue than Shea's but with an excellent selection of shows, check out Studio Arena. |

| Famous for creating the first Buffalo wings, Anchor Bar also serves Italian food, but is a favorite for its wings. A local favorite to some, a place for tourists to others, Buffalonians are picky about their wings, and every pizza place that serves them is sure to have a following. |

12. Antoinette's on the Hill

| With excellent sundaes, and a chocolate shop inside, this may be outside of the city, but is well worth the short drive. |
