  • 1. Southwinds Condo

    A cheerfully decorated, clean and cozy condo. The price is unbeatable and there is almost 0 walking distance to the beach. No hassles with credit cards or deposits. Jim Foster was very friendly and we look forward to using his services again!

    Newly renovated...a great and inexpensive place to take children. Great Display of old shipwreck with sharks. Many shows and exhibits to enjoy.

    North Carolina Maritime Museum, Beaufort

    A place of history located in beautiful Beaufort. Interesting artifacts and articles, within walking distance to many quaint shops and restaraunts.

  • 4. Fort Macon State Park
    Fort Macon State Park, Atlantic Beach

    Offer tours, but you can explore it on your own also. Nice place for older kids to view, take a picnic lunch and explore its beaches.

  • 5. Cape Lookout Lighthouse
    Cape Lookout Lighthouse, Harkers Island, North Carolina

    Very beautiful site and scenery. Watch out for the horse flies along the shady walkway though. You can walk across on a boardwalk to view the breathtaking oceanside. A charming lightkeepers house sits in front of the lighthouse with antiques and artifacts. Our sons really liked the whale bones.

  • 6. Ferry to the Cape and Shackelford Banks

    Friendly and curteous service to the various islands off of the Crystal Coast with reasonable rates.
