1. Wake up at Golden Rock Plantation Inn
| As the sun rises, take pictures of the stunning view, and maybe have a quick dip in the spring-fed pool before walking down to breakfast in the courtyard, surrounded by flowers and birds. Eat lots of the wonderful tropical fruit -- even bananas are yummier on Nevis because they are grown here and harvested ripe. Say hello to Pam, the wonderful host at Golden Rock. |

2. Take an island tour by taxi
| Have one of my favorite taxis drivers (call the day before to book this) take me on a wonderful guided tour to see the whole island, stopping at all the most interesting spots and taking lots of pictures. I would chose perhaps Teach Tours or Marlon Brando. Yes that really is his name. |

3. Lunch in Charlestown at Unella's
| Get the taxi driver to drop me off in Charlestown, where I would have lunch at Unella's and then spoil myself with one scoop of superb locally-made ice cream at the little icecream place not too far from there, called Gems. Guava ice cream would be my choice when they have it! |
4. Then over to Pinney's Beach
| Here I would swim, relax and look for shells. As it gets cooler during the afternoon I would walk along the beach for a mile or so in both directions, down by the waterline. |

5. Dinner at Nisbet Plantation Beach Club
Ave price:
$747
After a shower, a nap, and a change of clothes up at Golden Rock, get one of my favorite taxi drivers to take me up to Nisbet for a superb dinner wiht a good glass of wine. Their menu has many excellent choices, including some very good ones for vegetarians. Say hello to Patterson and give him a tie for his collection. |

6. Back to Golden Rock to fall asleep to the sounds of nature
| If it is clear, first look up at the stars, which seem so close you could touch them, and you may also see the twinkling of a few lights over on Montserrat. Golden Rock is so cool, quiet, and peaceful. You feel as if you are resting in the arms of nature, and the tropical nightsounds are the world's best lullaby. |
