I don't know what i like best about the Green Gate Inn. The accomodations are comfortable, spacious and charming. The owners and staff go beyond being merely friendly and helpful. The location is terrific and the homes themselves are part of the local history. I would highly recommend the Green Gate Inn.
My wife and I loved this charming little tea room. Located on Main St. between St. George Blvd and Tabernacle St., It is only open from 11:00-2:00 Monday-Thursday. Stop by and enjoy the delectable assortment of tea sandwiches, finger foods, desserts and scones while sipping tea, lemonade or other beverages. The owners are friendly and personable, the food delicious and the setting absolutely charming.
Though a bit more pricey than the other restaurants in the area, the food here is excellent and the whole experience is very classy and refined.
Located on St. George Blvd, this mexican restaurant is tasty and quick. Sure wish there was one in Boston.
Possibly the Most Beautiful Place on Earth.
If you're in St. George, it's worth it to take a tour of the place that was the center of town when it was first settled. The Tabernacle is an impressive work of architecture given the resources of the early settlers who built it. The guided tours are friendly and enjoyable.
To tour the winter home of the man who led the Mormon pioneers to Utah is to take a glimpse into the lifestyle of those who lived in St. George more than a century ago.
