I got my outerwear and accessories from Pro Cam Fis. Columbia is also a great alternative. Land's End was useful regarding the underwear layers. Look up the proper clothes and footwear, especially those who have no experience with winter.
A good place for first-timers to enjoy winter in Switzerland, as well as family-friendly.

A nice hotel with fantastic views of the mountains
This train takes the scenic route up and down Arosa, and no worries about driving yourself.
5. The best view is from the top
Take the cable cars up to the very top (with one change to a smaller car when just before the last and highest stop) and enjoy a 360-degree view of the mountains! Fantastic in winter, apparently also incredible in the summer.
There are a lot of things to see and do; frankly just breathing the air and looking up at the mountains all around is sometimes more than enough. Also, you can take a horse-drawn sleigh and drink hot chocolate as you bundle up in sheepskin, an experience that is fun by day as well as by moonlight.
Try the specialty restaurants; order the raclette (but if you need meat, get a steak somewhere else afterwards) after a moonlit snowshoe walk, and the dried beef cured in the cold mountain air.
