Stayed here. The rooms were clean and neat. Fairly large size. The breakfast and free drinks from 5:30-7:30 were nice perks. Overall nice hotel to stay at.
2. Garden of the Gods

Really nice hiking and park. Take your camera and hike along the trails to see beautiful and strange rock formations. Spent more than a day here.
3. Il Vicino

Good wood fired Pizza. The cheeses and toppings were interesting.. slightly upscale/gourmet, but very affordable. Street parking can be a bit of a pain, but worth it.
4. Pikes Peak

Awesome drive up and down.. remember to use the low gears. Could not make it all the way to the top but went 90% of the way up. The views were spectacular.. defintely a must see! Wear layers as it is much colder at 14,110 feet ...
5. Manitou Springs

Quant little town.. was an interesting drive through..
6. Academy Riding Stables

Nice stables.. 1 hr horse ride was about 35$. Goes through the garden of the gods. It is a nice relaxing ride with entertaining wranglers.. recommended if you have the time.
7. Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museum
Manitou Cliff Dwellings Museum, Manitou Springs, Colorado
Neat little caves in the side of the mountains. Kinda small and can be covered in about a half hr. Interesting to see how ancient american indians lived in caves and survived..
8. Big City Burrito
There is one of these in downtown colorado springs.. pretty good potato burritos.. should be a high carb meal for some energy..
