| Yes, it's overrated, overpriced and for sure you will wait in the line! But it's the third tallest building in the world and once you are in Chicago you have to go! It's my favourite building in Chicago. I like the little movie that tells you how the Sears Tower were made maybe more than a view. Go early in the morning or late in the evening and you will beat the lines. They have cool postcards up there, i haven't seen them anywhere else in the city. |

2. Chicago's subway
| I was amazed by chicago's subway that goes above the ground, living in New York my every day commute in overheated and overcrowded subway pretty much stinks! Now subway in Chicago rocks! |

3. Museum of Science and Industry
| Definitely worth the trip downtown. It's outside of the loop so it doesn't ge overcorwded by tourist. Once you there definitely catch Omnimax movie, it's pretty cool :-) The museum is pretty cool and has so much to offer for adults and kids! |

4. Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum
| The only planetarium with two theatres, Skip the sky theatre which i found very boring, and rather visit star rider theatre they have some cool laser shows in there. There's no lines and it doesn't get overcrowded like next door shedd aquarium does. |

| It's very touristy place, If you plan a visit go very early in the morning otherwise you will be stuck in the line later in the day with hundreds of spoiled 5 years old around! Don't skip the SpongeBob 4D show even if you are not spongebob fan, it worth seeing it. |

6. Hancock Observatory and Tower
| I was suprised not many fellow travellers i met didn't know about it, yet it mentioned in every travel guide! The view from Hancock building it's definitely cooler then Sears Tower but it's not as good organized as Sears Tower, Line is moving slowly and don't be suprised when they take you up by mini elevator that is usually used only by security and service people! Elevators are the downside only two of them, there's line to get up and line to get down! Don't bother with booking ticket online you will have to wait in the line anyway! |

| If you can go the weekend before thanksgiving when there's light's festival! There are few shops there that definitely worth to visit, first if you are girl no matter how old American girl store is something you just have to see! There's only two of them in USA and each is different, they are both very riduculos but fun to watch people there, the one in Chicago has hair salon for doll. Lego store has some pretty amazing stuff to see. Get a popcorn and Garret popcorn shop, and hot chocolate or malt at Ghirardelli :-) |

| Very touristy place! But there's awesome Ben & Jerry's shop, don't like Ben & Jerry's? Haagen Dazs is there too! IMAX theatre, and thrilling 3D ride time space and Chicago's amazing maze is fun for kids and adults too! Don't say it's for little kids and go try it :-) In the summer beer garden is pretty cool :-) |
