Sunny Sweet Scarborough In Yorkshire England

31 Dec 2006  Remembering Past holidays here as a child and nearby to other attractions
3.5 of 5 stars based on 1 vote

Scarborough has a wonderful indoor shopping precinct with various shops/stores, suniest beaches and a wonderful peaceful delightful North Bay with The delightful Peasholm Park which has a small boating lake, a huge variety of flowered beds, surrounded by many trees and is a very lovely majical park to visit and illuminated by fairy twinkle lights at night, there is a marvellous well stocked cafe, and a place to feed the many variety of birds(ducks, swans, geese, pigeons, and other visiting birds for all to see. If It rains as it so often does in Yorkshire England in Scarborough you could visit Sealife Centre in North Bay area or the indoor swimming pool complex or the wonderful indoor shopping arcade that has small and large shops with plenty of lovely nice cafeterias, restaurants to sit and eat in. The Beaches in Scarborough Whitby, Filey and Bridlington are sunniest and very nice.
and opposite peasholm park there is a little tiny park area where you can hop on a little train on a short scenic route journey to Sealife Centre rather than take your car and is not too far away from the Centre of Scarborough which has a lot going on and is very popular and busy in Summer with tourists. The lovely St Marys Church is a nice place to go to in Scarborough and so is the one in historical Whitby nearby. Nearby near York there is many attractions such as Flamingo Land a theme park and Howard Castle and a few Lavender farms outside of Scarborough and there are several museums, galleries and so on. Many bargains for shoppers can be found in The Wonderful Scarborough Shopping Centre and entertainment too can be had by both young and old alike.
