1. Parking lot

The foot bridge at the parking lot.

2. Clarks Ferry Shelter

Clarks Ferry Shelter (with privy). This shelter had 4 bunks and plenty of floor space. Also on site were a picnic table and fire ring.

The Doyle Hotel is a popular stop on the AT. They go out of their wait to accommodate hikers. They have an area for packs while you eat. The food is good, they serve beer, and the offer rooms for the night.

5. Rocky trail up the mountain.

Hiking up the mountain once through town takes a while. It's a very rocky section of trail.

6. Scenic overlook

Fantastic scenic overlook. Very popular with day hikers.

7. Cove Mountain shelter

Cove Mountain shelter.

Like a lot of the other shelters, this one had 4 bunks and a lot of floor space.

9. Town hiking.

The sidewalks are a nice change from the rocky trail.
