Points of Interest

1. Beaver meadow trailhead

AS you walk up this last section of Beaver Meadow road, you will notice two things: Whiteface swings into view, and a gate, indicating the Beaver Meadow trailhead. Turn left here and go through the gate.

2. V.A.S.T. Trail

You are crossing the VAST trail, stay straight.

3. Beaver Meadow

You are nearing the southeast end of Beaver Meadow. Stay straight/right.

4. Whiteface Trail

Take a right and follow the steeper, rocky trail towards the Whiteface Shelter.

5. Whiteface Shelter

Here you'll find a public lean to maintained by the Green Mountain Club. Shortly thereafter, turn right and head up a very steep, narrow and rocky trail to the Whiteface summit.

6. Whiteface Summit

Follow the various social paths to vistas if you so chose. The summit is treed.

7. Morse View

Enjoy it!

8. Hagerman Overlook

9. Chilcoot Trail intersection

Go straight for now, but on your way down Madonna, turn right here.

10. Ski trail intersection

Go straight if you wanna stay on the Long Trail, or do as I did and take the ski trails up.

11. Madonna Summit

12. Beaver Meadow Lodge

This is cool. Stick to the right by crossing the brook.

13. Rejoin the trail.

Turn right.
