Built in the 1600s this hotel of about 30 rooms offers a historical structure owned by the same family for many generations. The rooms are generous in size and pleasant. Service is excellent as is responsiveness to questions and needs. At least one of the owners speaks English and there is free WiFi. Located a short walk from the center of the historical district and many fine restaurants, this hotel should meet all of your desires. Although on a busy street, none of the street noise makes its way into the rooms.

This place is a gem!!! Centrally located, its a great place to stay and walk to EVERYTHING! We arrived on Friday night and there was not much to see, but as saturday came, we walked out of the hotel and had delicious authentic mexican bfast at a mercado located about 1block away. The hotel had all the necessities (even wifi) and the look was that of an old Spanish hacienda. The staff was super nice And the rooms were super clean. I strongly recommend this place.

My family and myself stayed at this hotel about a month ago and to be honest we were very delighted, it's a beautiful historic place, the location is great, closed to most of the historic attractions of this beautiful city. The rooms are spacious and clean, it was a real pleasure to spend the night in this place where you can almost breath the history of Puebla. We were a group of 11 people and all of us were completely satisfied with the hospitality of their owners Mr. Antuan and family, who treated us like family and made every attempt possible to make our stay pleasant. We are definitely coming back. Oh and to top it off, the prices are completely affordable!

------ We paid around 700 pesos per night and we had booked 2 bedrooms by they were both dirty and with mold on some walls. You could actually smell the humidity and we couldn't stay there because we felt bad. The bedrooms are actually cute and if you don't pay too much attention they look nice at first sight. The personal was very nice and friendly, but we left because of the humidity.

Colonial place just off the historical centre of Puebla. You need only to cross a broad and noisy avenue and you are there. The place is full of mexican flavour, but not of the tourist kind. People working there is very friendly and entertaining, altough check in and out procedures are quick and a little disorganized. Rooms are around a quiet courtyard, are somewhat dark and cold in winter, but maybe the opposite in summer. Well laid and clean, old fixtures. Wifi only out of the room, and weak signal. Outside is a huge commercial center with parking.

First of all, if you are looking for the alot of amenities, this is not the place for you. It is basic but has so much character. We stayed 12/27-28, had 4 rooms. You can get rooms with 1-3 beds in them. Rooms are clean, beds are firm. I never used the tv as we walked around the centro. Could have used wireless but didn't care that much. They seemed to be under some renovations at the time as there were little parts of the hotel that were closed but that did not bother us. The doors close at night but there is someone there to let you in when coming home from the bar. There is parking across the street in the structure. I think it was @$ 100 MXN. The 1 King room cost $500 MXN a night (@$36 at the time) cash only. They had an issue with hot water when I arrived but was fixed before we actually needed it the next morning. This place seems to have a history of not having hot water but I found out that you need to run the water at least 5 minutes if not 10 before it is hot.
