Hans welcomed us on our arrival, we were fortunate enough to leave our car safely for four days whilst we enjoyed the sights and sounds of Bruges [ oh and the beer]. Our room was comfortable, and the breakfast satisfying to set us up for the day. Lovely setting, Han's was very attentive and informative.

It's amazing hotel, a beautiful room. The owner is really nice, very attentive. Breakfast is wonderful, delicious and the view is beautiful. There is a lot of greenery on the property and the view from the room is also incredible. It is worth staying at this hotel. I highly recommend.

We stayed here 2 nights in December. It’s in a perfect location in which to explore the city. It’s a 20 minute walk. There is safe parking outside the hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clean. There is a mini bar too. Breakfast was good. Lots of variety and plenty of tea and coffee. Our host was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would have no problem staying here again.

We, are family of 4, stayed on our travels to Italy. We required parking and were permitted to park in the car park before check in, to walk into the centre. Hotel is perfect for families, we had a family room (top of the stairs!) which had two connecting bedrooms, all the facilities you would require. Hans and his lovely wife were extremely accommodating, we even booked to stay another night on our return journey home.

Very good location just outside the city centre, with off road parking. We walked into Brugges several times and it only takes about 20 mins, along a not too busy road. The hotel is a period type property, very clean with friendly helpful hosts. We had room 4 which is on the first floor, it was quite large with a modern bathroom with shower over the bath. Breakfast was continental type, with ample selection of cheese, yogurt, fruit, eggs and bread. Our only small gripe was that there was a mosquito in our room for two nights, the hosts were unable to supply us with any spray, which ended up with us both having multiple bites! But apart from that, we can highly recommend Gasthof Groenhove for a place to stay in Brugges. Also..if you happen to like Indian food, there is an excellent restaurant 2 minutes walk away at the end of the road!

We stayed as 5 people family at Gasthof Groenhove for 2 nights. This is a very friendly and comfortable bed and breakfast. Owners are very friendly and helpful people. Breakfast was great with an excellent selection of meats, cheeses, sweets and of course amazing coffee. The location is very close to historic center and was not a problem for us at all. Please note, If you are looking for a 4-5 star big chain hotel you might not enjoy this place --> It is a bed and breakfast after all. I also have a concern with the lack of A/C in the room. We stayed at the top level of the house and I can see how it can get hot during summer or rainy days. During our stay, nights were very fresh and dry and the temperature in the room was very comfortable. Overall we had a great bed and breakfast experience and it will be my pleasure to give this place for our stay high marks.

When you first drive down the street you think it can't be here, then it just pops up just like that all lovely and green. The minute we parked up the owner came out and said Mr &a Mrs Scott come in (we were early) he took us in got a map out and talked us through where to go and visit on the map. With the hotel only being a 20 minute walk from the centre of town it's ideal, it's a very friendly hotel and your room is clean too. Brugge it's self isn't cheap bars in the main sq know how to charge, so we walked around Brugge and came back to near to the hotel to have an evening meal. We will be going back to stay at this hotel as it also has good safe off road parking for cars and motorcycles.

Great family rooms, we love that we always seem to end up I the attic, and this room was no different. Plenty of room for our family of five and spotless rooms. Breakfast was pleasant and simple. The real value is the location and a grocery next door. It was a short walk to the Southeast gate and the area was safe and quiet. Much easier to get the vehicle in and out, with easy parking, then to walk to Bruges. Enjoyed the proprietor's friendly demeanor, when we arrived he say with us and a map he provided to show us the highlights and make recommendations.

A very helpful host, efficient, and obviously loves where he lives and is enthusiastic about making sure his guests get the best from their visit. Very comfy surroundings, and room cleaned daily. Upsides; spacious rooms, lovely bathroom, nice views, warm and cosy. Short walk to the main square and tourist areas. Good to have safe free parking. Downsides; no hot drink making facilities in the the room, shower unit was confusing and didnt work well, staying in room 4 we had very early morning deliveries (both mornings) for the Carrefour minimarket which was noisy and meant we had to get up and close the window. Despite booking ahead for both vegan and dairy free breakfast options, none were presented to us, so we were glad we took our own stuff to breakfast.

Very nice, comfortable Bed and Breakfast on the outskirts of Bruges. Host was very welcoming, sitting down with us upon arrival, providing a map and pointing out Bruges points of interest with direction. Spacious, safe parking for our vehicle on site. We were greeted each morning for breakfast with a smile and personally made cup of coffee. We stayed in the family room which provided us with plenty of space for our family and a cousin traveling with us. The beds were comfortable, towels cozy, and room clean. Cons: The walk to the main square is closer to 20-25'. This made for a long day with younger kids when combined with walking the beautiful town of Bruges. The entryway to our room was up a very narrow and steep set of stairs. We did not have wifi in our room, I assume, due to the distance from the main lobby.
