Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely Hotel. Bedroom was clean and tidy with a very comfortable King bed. The “Kitchen andBar” was a great place to eat with friendly staff. Reception staff were very helpful and there is a mini market with a Small selection of essentials you can buy. My one downside was the English Breakfast. Most items were cold and the bacon and sausage were poor. The rest of the breakfast selection was good.

I am a marriott titanium member (over 70 nights a year in marriott hotels for nearly seven years now) . This is my first stay at Courtyard (not EU) Brussels. I would like to thank Ali who came to pick me up at the airport. He showed up on time, he was pleasant and curteous and made me instantly forget how stressfull the day had been up to then. Thank you Ali. As for the hotel itself: the check in was smooth, the room clean, the burger in the restaurant just what the doctor ordered, the Triple carmelite cold and reasonably priced. The hotel is conveniently located close to the NATO, EUROCONTROL and the airport and the good people of the hotel will take you to any of these places because the customer comes first. Again, thank you Ali for being such a good ambassador of my favorite brand .

First time to this Courtyard Marriott and it was a very ‘average’ experience. The bar area was soulless and had no atmosphere and the rooms, while comfortable, were very stuffy, so turned off non effective AC to open the window but the traffic, even from the 4th floor was still quite noisy Breakfast was ok but lots of items had run out even at 8.15am so perhaps they were not expecting a rush that morning! I have been to a lot better Marriott may well look for an alternative next time in Brussels

Second time with Brussels branch. As usual all went well , was glad to see Sophie still at the reception and as helpful as always . Abdellah from the restaurant going the extra mile to get my daughter have her Halloween makeup . One remark though is to at least get basic amenities as toothbrush and toothpaste for guests who forget to bring or even a bathrobe , it’s really the minimum . But all in all thanks

I want to take this opportunity to state that my overall stay was great, but could have been outstanding. For over €200/night I expected something as basic as toothbrush and toothpaste to be complimentary. Upon a request for it, I was directed to their small store. The price for toothbrush/toothpaste was €5-6. There was no way I can justify that purchase. The fitness room was so-so. It was a small sized room with basic free weights and free cardio machines. Considering the price I paid I expected cups to be provided for their water dispenser. The location was so-so. To travel to the city center to 30-40 mins by public transportation. My room lack options to make caffeinated beverages. The important part was that my room was exactly as described. It was a comfortable room with a bed that I slept like a baby. The shower was rejuvenating after a long day of exploration.

A modern clean hotel with very friendly and professional staff. Breakfast good selection. Our room was of adequate size, light and airy, although the shower was in the bath rather than a walk-in shower. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the air con wasn't working (presumably switched off). It was not possible to open the window by more than half an inch. This didn't really let in much air at all but greatly increased the traffic noise. We were only there for one night, so managed. We must mention staff member Nico who came to our rescue following a mishap on our arrival. Would recommend hotel.

Very friendly staff at the registration desk. They follow the "Yes we can" policy. Got to admit, you dont hear that in each hotel these days. Breakfast buffet, larger selection of bread and warm dishes. They have excellent smoothies. Great Coffee. Rooms are clean and larger than expected. Staff at the restaurant are very friendly and all had always a smile and were for a laugh..

If your looking to really experience Brussels, this is probably not the hotel for you. The hotel location seemed to be a good distance from the Grand Place (about 30 - 45 minutes). Anyway, travel between the hotel and downtown area was painful. Also, there really doesn’t seem to be much within walking distance. The breakfast at the hotel was WAY overpriced, and the options were limited. The beds were very uncomfortable, and I could hear a lot of noise fro The cars and motorbikes passing by, as well as other rooms. On the positive side, the hotel is very clean, and the staff were outstanding.

Dear Companion241003, I am delighted to see that your had a good stay overall and I will have share your comments regarding the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff. In regards to the location, it’s true that we are located on an airport area. Nevertheless we are just 30 minutes away with bus from the main square and all the local attractions. I would like to thank you for your feedback and I hope welcoming you back again in our hotel in the near future.
