2 Beautifully furnished and finished rooms for those who like clean, modern lines. Bathrooms a wow factor. Breakfast was just right to set you up for the day with a large choice of fresh fruit, cereals and full English. The Westrigg special not to be missed. Very friendly welcome more

We have tended to not to opt for B & B in the past but Westrigg is better than a 5 star hotel, tucked away at the end of a quite street this beautiful property is perfectly situated for a short walk to the castle, river and centre of Walkworth. The house its self is beautifully presented and can only... more

This was our first visit to Westrigg and the previous reviewers (bar one who must have had a bad hair day) have said it all. A lovely and friendly welcome from Katie with tea and cake, an excellently appointed room, superb breakfasts and nothing was too much trouble. Westrigg is in a lovely and quiet position and on our first... more

We can not praise Westrigg too highly - Katie made us incredibly welcome into her lovely home and had provided everything we could possibly want in our room. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit options, and beautifully cooked . The room was very comfortable and decorated to a very high standard, and we slept well. Westrigg is in a... more

This place is great - I can't recommend it highly enough! Katie and Paul are fantastic hosts in this really wonderful B&B - friendly, welcoming, helpful and kind - who make you feel totally welcome from the moment you arrive. They've really thought of everything, all those finishing touches which make a difference - fresh flowers, piles of fluffy towels... more

A wonderful B&B. We sat by a log fire and ate Katie's delicious homemade cake and tea on arrival, and felt very comfortable and at home. The bedroom was a delight and on a par or better than many 4 star hotels. Breakfast could not have been improved it was wonderful. We will definitely come back and stay longer. Katie... more

Our first visit to Northumberland was 'made' by the warm welcome from our host. Good advice about the sites of interest and places to eat were given by our host Katie. Set in a quiet area of Warkworth, five star room and breakfast awaits you at the Westrigg. We left after a three night stay feeling we had known katie... more

We were greeted on our arrival at Westrigg by a cup of tea and slice of homemade cake, which was a lovely way to start our stay. The room and bathroom were wonderful, and so clean it was as if we were the first people to ever stay there. It was the small touches that made our stay (such as... more
