We stayed here on our St Oswald's Way walk through Northumberland. The B&B is located on the outskirts of town, close to green English fields. Our room upstairs was small but comfortable and the ensuite similarly small but serviceable. Everything was well cared for, and clean and tidy. Our hosts were very pleasant and helpful, pointing out a more scenic...

Warkworth was the last stop on our fabulous walking tour of the Northumberland coast and at first we were a little disappointed as we had to leave the pretty town centre and wearily make our way uphill to a less attractive area. Take it all back - we had the sort of warm welcome that we'd experienced in all Northumbrian...

I was doing a short cycle tour from Newcastle to Scotland using Sustrans route 1.
Great B&B - secure storage for the bike in garage overnight. Great en-suite double room - freeview TV. Very friendly and helpful. I was lent a torch for the short walk to the town which is very pretty and with great pubs for evening meal....

Two of us friends stayed here as part of a motorcycle trip exploring the coast. Sue and Geoff were very welcoming and friendly, offering us off road parking for the bikes. The rooms were the highest standard I have seen in a B&B, very comfortable and well appointed. They showed us a nice walking route along the river into town....

We were given a warm welcome and much-needed help to dry our wet clothes and walking boots. The bedroom and small ensuite were spotless, pretty and comfortable with a lovely view of the garden. Breakfast was good. Sue and Geoff could not have been more helpful with recommendations for where to eat and a lift into the village to save...

My friend and I were walking the Northumberland Coastal Path. We stayed at Aulden for 1 night. Everything was excellent from the warm welcome, the friendly advice, excellent state of decor and great breakfast.. Couldn't ask for more.
We stayed for one night at the end of our walking holiday on the beautiful Northumbrian coastal path. The house is lovely, immaculately clean, well kept and comfortable. Sue and Geoff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. We were more than happy with our stay. Thankyou.
Owners very friendly and accommodating to suit vegetarian tastes and gave us a transport lift. Very clean and comfortable. House set in a quiet part of town - about 10 minutes from town centre. Plenty of choice for breakfast - cereal, fruit, yoghurts and cooked. Good start to a week's walking.
