This was our second stay at Roxboro and you cannot ask for a better place to stay in Northumberland: superb location, excellent rooms and a great breakfast. Claire is a delightful hostess and nothing seems too much trouble. The fine touches mentioned by other "tripadvisors" make it more a top class country house hotel rather than a bed and breakfast. more

We stayed at roxbro house for 2 nights and loved it. Our room was beautifully decorated and imaculate, nice touches were the chocolates and shortbread biscuits in the room on arrival. Also there was a cafetiere and fresh coffee and good size mugs - not the usual small cups! The pillows were the most comfortable we have ever slept on... more
