I stayed here with my daughter on 16th Feruary 2012 and we had a very pleasant stay. This hotel was fantastic value for money. The hotel was welcoming, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was plentyful and very tasty. Staff were pleasant too. The only slight downside was not having tea or coffee... More

We popped in here for dinner one evening whilst staying nearby and were very impressed with the standard of the food - especially when two courses were only £10.50! I had a delicious beef bourguignon with horseradish mashed potatoes and my boyfriend had venison - both of which were generous and very good quality. The puddings were exceptional and the... More

Lovely room, tasteful decor and all the facilities. We ate in the bar which had a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The service was a little slow (the restaurant was very busy) but that really didnt matter as the food was lovely, plenty of fresh veg and all piping hot. Breakfast was equally good, the best kippers we have had.... More

We went to the hotel to meet family for lunch as we had previously enjoyed some good food and a pleasant atmosphere at the hotel on other occasions. Unfortunately incredibly rude service and a total lack of manners totally ruined our visit to the restaurant. The food itself was tasty but I was appalled that a relatively minor mistake made... On arrival the hotel exterior, lobby and bar areas looked very nice with Christmas decorations making it seem very seasonal and cosy. We were shown to our attic room but had to ask for info about breakfast times, late entry arrangements etc. There didn't seem to be any further info in our room about the hotel, restaurant or bar except... Stayed for just one night in November - the main thing was that the heating was capable. We had two rooms, one double and one twin and we took 2 dogs though we ended up paying extra for these despite declaring these when we booked and thought we had paid in full up front. Still, I'm quibbling really. Very comfortable... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in October with our two golden retrievers. On arrival we were given a very warm welcome, shown to our room which had recently been refurbished, was spacious and very clean. Kath really did make us all feel welcome, evidently a dog owner herself. We were given directions to the beach and told that the... More

Having spent two enjoyable days at Warkworth House and having read previous reviews I have to say I am not sure where previous contributors had stayed. The room was comfortable, excellent breakfast and good location. Also having just watched a documentary on TV with an irritating, boring bunch of Trip Advisor "critics" I now realise that these reviews hardly present... More

We popped in to the Warkworth house hotel for a meal. The bar staff were polite and pleasant. The restaurant staff were helpful and although we had not booked a table they were able to accommodate us. The food was well presented and extremely tasty. I would recommend this restaurant. More
