I loved the park inn, it was very warm and welcoming the staff spoke very good English and the hotel was massive with a great spa and great food. The hotel layout was very confusing at first then it gets easy to remember. My only downside that the fire alarm went off twice in one week! I would come back... More

OK - minuses first: small room (king double - no chance!), cold bathroom (they forced blocked the temperature regulator!), nothing complementary (was missing bathrobe the most of all to go to the pool and back), not enough wardrobes (we really struggled what to do with our wet clothes after skiing - no hooks, just a tiny rack in a wardrobe,... Although the rooms are small, the hotel facilities include a very nice Spa area which includes indoor and outdoor pools as well as a number of Jacuzzies. In addition there are no less than four different saunas and steam rooms. Ski in/out and excellent storage facilities for skis. A stay at this hotel does not come cheap and the 5... More

This is a really god spot in Trysil to stay if you are there for the Norwegian ski experience. The hotel is located just by the slopes and it has all the necessities you would need. It´s new and modern and it has a folklore twist to the design. The breakfast buffé is great, free parking, nice SPA with saunas... More

We stayed just one night in a double room, and were very pleased with our stay. Very nice hotel right on the slopes, convenient for easy ski in/out. The selection of bars/restaurants offers a range of food and budgets, the Kubben bar is relaxing, while the Afterski is lively. The spa was fabulous, well worth a visit, even if they... More

Having read some of the reviews here, we booked half board and this turned out to be a great move. The breakfast and dinner buffets at this hotel are fantastic. The bar in the main building has great views and a nice atmoshpere. The rooms however are disappointing. This is not a cheap hotel and for the money, the rooms... More

First you should know that i try to ballance my score against the price of th hotel. I expect extra for high cost - and i consider 1500 NOK/day (app. $250/d) high. I chose Mountain Resort because i stayed here last year and was glad! I was a bit taken back when i wanted to book thi year and notised... More

If you are looking for a brand new, modern hotel with enough services and ski-in, ski-out possibility, definitely consider this. The hotel is huge, it is rather beautiful and the location is both beautiful and excellent for ski. But this place may provide a few surprises you might want to know of. You read on the internet you are supposed... More

We are a family with 2 children (14 and 12). We went for new year 2013. This fairly new hotel had fabulous facilities, but we were very pleased we had paid for the half board option, (which included a fabulous breakfast and hot dinner buffet selection - which was great for even our very fussy son and vegetarians), as the...
