I stayed here with family and my in-laws. The facilities are far nicer than one would expect this far north of Fairbanks. The cabins were lovely and the hosts were quite friendly. We felt quite guilty plugging in our electronics because they were on an alternate power source, but other than that we really enjoyed our time here.

If you are looking for a perfect stop between Fairbanks and Deadhorse, this is the place. The hosts are fantastic. We stayed in the Aurra cabin on two separate occasions and would definitively return if we are ever on the Dalton again!

There isn't a lot of competition for lodging above the arctic circle and in the middle of the route from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay on the northern Alaska coastline. Had the privilege of staying at the Arctic Getaway with Owner's Berni and Uta and their beautiful children for one night during a drive down from Prudhoe Bay to Fairbanks.
