We had a most relaxing week. Snorkling was awesome. People very friendly, food was great, and the rooms were clean. Came home totaly decompressed. Wish we could go back sooner. more

Adrienne and Jim manage to establish a very relaxed atmosphere on Cayo Carenero just a 5-minute boat trip away from Bocas Town. Rooms are spacious and very clean in a palm garden next to a private beach. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast while watching pelicans. more

Adrienne and Jim were very nice hosts. They organized boat taxis and reccomended great snorkling/sailing adventure. They were there to answer questions and chat with us. My boyfriend and I have stayed at the Buccaneer Resort twice. The first time was in February of ‘07 and we thought it was a pretty cool place. I will admit the rooms were not as clean as would have preferred, but it wasn't horrible and we are used to "roughing it" and such so we were fine with it.... more

We have traveled over a great deal of Central America and Buccaneer is definitely the best bang for the buck we have gotten so far! We stayed in a cabana, which was VERY affordable, right on the beach with plenty of space. It was in great shape when we got there, and was cleaned every day. Carenaro Island is nice... more
