Hi just a quick review, I recently stayed at this B&B whilst on business in the area. It was easy enough to find and very close to the town. The town offers nice areas to go for a quiet evening stroll after work. I was most impressed by the owners attention to detail and genuine interest in ensuring his guests... More

I don't often like staying in B&Bs, but this one was just about perfect. I had the small single room, but the attention to detail in the room and associated bathroom (towelling robe supplied - lovely touch) meant I felt completely at home. A good standard of cleanliness throughout, and the bed was really comfortable. The real highlights for me... More

A wonderful place to stay. My sat nav found it with no problem at all even though it is tucked away a little bit. The room I had was a single room but was more than adequately furnished. The room is not ensuite but this does not detract from it at all as you have a private bathroom immediately opposite... More

I stayed overnight on the way to visit friends - I got a friendly phone call giving directions and the room was just what I needed. Really enjoyed the breakfast, and the good conversation and friendly approach of the owner Malcolm. Thanks!

This B&B was an absolute delight. We had originally looked at B&Bs in Brighton, but were deterred not only by the price but also by the "two night minimum stay" policy at weekends. No such problems at the Laurels, where we were welcome for one night only, and it's half an hour's drive from Brighton - there are also bus... More

Like a mini hotel, clean & bright room. Ample choice for breakfast (& plenty of it). On arrival a warm welcome from Malcolm, the veritable font of knowledge for the surrounding area. A great help on our family history quest. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone intending to visit. Ideal for the coast and the South Downs without the hassle of... More

lovely, quiet, clean room and ensuite bathroom. great breakfast - fruit, cereal, yogurt, toast and the full english if you wanted it. Malcolm kindly told be a little about the area's history and gave me directions for a walk to the centre of the village via very pretty thatched and tudor cottages and an old church. my only complaint was... When we arrived we received a welcome cuppa, we had a double room and it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Nothing is too much bother for the owner Malcolm, we where in Henfield to attend a family wedding and Malcolm drove me to pick up my car the morning after. Henfield is a... More

We stayed for 2 nights in order to visit family who live in Brighton. What a lucky find! We didn't want to stay in Brighton itself - too noisy and the inevitable problem of parking. I came across this B&B by chance on the internet. Can't think of anything negative. Lovely comfortable room and bed. The ensuite bathroom was well... More
