We booked our trip through tui based on the brilliant reviews for these cabins we chose these. We arrived at the reindeer hotel via bus (you pick your snowsuits up on the way) this all went smoothly. The reindeer hotel is basically the “reception” for the cabins, be aware of this! The hotel is at least a half hour walk away from the cabins. We arrived about 1pm to be told we had to go to the welcome meeting at the reindeer hotel at 3pm (you have to go to this as they tell you the times for the excursions!) as that was 2 hour away we decided to walk into Levi to kill time. Levi centre is gorgeous and we had hot chocolates in zero point cafe which were gorgeous! Our coach was to take us to the cabins at 4pm from the reindeer hotel, there was a lot of frustration and waiting about. We booked a tui excursion prior to our holiday to be told by the rep at the meeting it had been cancelled, I had to rebook another excursion but spent the next few day worrying about our refund as there was no communication via email our excursion was cancelled and I felt communication was poor! We were taken by coach to the cabins and I felt like we were left in the middle of nowhere! We were hungry and tired. There was a hamper left with bacon and eggs (no oil!) bread (no butter) milk, jam, juice, crisps and tea bags. I wish I’d called at the shop when we popped into Levi for butter, oil and sugar at least. There was all cooking utensils, toilet roll included too and washing up liquid! The cabins felt secluded which I did expect but I thought there would be a reception where we could get information/taxi from (there isn’t) we tried to call a taxi but it didn’t connect from our phones, we looked into food delivery service but couldn’t find anything. We didn’t know where the bus stop 6 was which we was told the bus would be collecting us from the next morning at 8.25 to see Santa so we felt a little lost. The cabins are spacious and warm, they are really picturesque. There was an upstairs with 4 single beds and a double room downstairs. Because of the money we paid and having 4 stars I expected the sheets to be on the duvets and pillows but the beds were set for you to make up which is the last thing you want to do when you’ve not slept and travelling all day. I travelled with my husband and young children and none of us slept very well, the sheets didn’t fit the duvets and the pillows were small. The duvets fell off the single beds constantly as they were flimsy. The sauna was lovely and we enjoyed using that and the log fire, there is a lighter and logs provided. Sledges for the kids were provided too and we walked into Levi one night, it was a long walk probably about 30-40 minutes, it was a nice walk with the kids on the sledges although we didn’t do it again and got a taxi back! The taxi I think was 17 euros. I would recommend going into Levi though, there are nice restaurants and the kids can sledge at the bottom of the ski slopes which they loved. The Santa experience which is included by tui was amazing and the husky experience we paid for we loved. I would definitely love to return to Levi and Finland but would prefer to stay closer to the centre of Levi, I would also book the excursions privately, we saw a shop in Levi which had the same excursions much cheaper! We did manage to have a magical time despite some issues, we loved our Lapland holiday.

We visited as a family of 5 for my sons birthday prior to Xmas and had the most amazing time. This was our second visit to Lapland but first time stay in the cabins which was absolutely perfect! The cabins had everything we needed fridge/cooker etc… but they are rustic not modern and I thought it went we the theme of the place, the starter pack of food was brilliant until a supermarket visit! Our favourite feature was the log burner which we had on a couple of nights and we did some night walks around! Steady 30mins walk into centre of Levi and a taxi back was 10€!! Should I visit for a 3rd time I would definitely return to these cabins!!!

Beautiful cabins. Spacious and spotlessly clean. Set among wooded area it really is a winter wonderland. We walked into centre levi pulling my very heavy 8yr old on a sledge. This took 40 mins. A taxi takes 5 mins (also a bus stop few mins walk from the cabins ). The cabins are fully equipped with everything you could need. Washer and dryer very handy so no need to pack loads of clothes. Tv and dvd player. Cooker, microwave, plenty pots, pans, cutlery etc. Our welcome food package included bread, butter, bacon, yoghurt, milk, juice, ketchup, crisps and eggs. Sledges in outside shed. Lovley sauna, easy to work. Book with confidence, this place is amazing!

We booked a package holiday through TUI and stayed at KRT Levi cabins. First trip to Lapland and thought a log cabin would be nice and the reviews were good. It was the most magical few days we’ve ever had. The cabins are set out the way slightly, backing onto a forest. We had one right on the outskirts it was a lovely setting. Local enough to walk to town if you pull the kids on a sledge (they provide lots!) or you can get taxis into town for around 15 euros. The cabins are so warm, they provide towels and bedding, have a washing machine and a tall dryer for wet snowy clothes. Cabins were really clean. Had a lovely little memory book. We Enjoyed the evenings infront of the log fire watching Christmas films roasting marshmallows watching the snow fall outside. Underfloor heating was perfect. Fridge and cupboards had all the essentials in which was great. Can’t fault the place what’s so ever it was perfect and I highly recommend! Most friendliest place we have ever visited.

We travelled with Tui to these cabins and were just delighted. Warm and cosy with everything you need for a great holiday and they were so helpful - we had a lightbulb blow and it was fixed within 12 hour - our fire basket broke, again, replaced within 12 hours. Don't miss your bus pass - we didn't see ours as it was tucked on a shelf under the telly - we paid for 2 more at a cost of 36 euros - not their fault - I didn't look hard enough! Walk to town is an easy 30 minutes , we rented a ski locker in the ski centre so we didn't have to lug skis and walked in every day anyway! So much to do, Donna from Crystal Ski was fab - brilliant, would go back in a heart beat

Stayed as part of a package with TUI. Approx half hour walk into centre, or can get bus or taxi. We would walk in and then get bus or taxi back to cut cost as transport is expensive. Approx 20euro from centre to cabins. The starter food pack was amazing, bacon, ham, cheese, eggs, bread, crisps, biscuits, tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk, orange juice, butter. The cabin itself was fully even down to washing up liquid, foil, dishwasher tablets, clothes etc. There is two supermarkets in Levi, K market and S market. Cabins were lovely and warm, there was amble logs in the log store along with sledges to borrow. We took some DVDs to watch at night time and some hot chocolate. It was -20 outside and 20degrees inside. Under floor heating is very nice. Would definitely return. The package with TUI was amazing also, we went for 4 nights, we had one full day to do what we wanted, we choose skiing (30euro each person including skis for three hour). Definatley book excursions in town as they are half the price that tui offers and sometimes includes more. Some people booked excursions then realised they were cheaper in town. The town centre is beautiful small but has everything, quite expensive for drinks 5euro a bottle of Coca Cola , we brought some from the supermarket 2euro for 500ml bottle. The bus is 4euro per person and doesn’t have a limit on where you have to get off. The Gondola upto the top of the slope and the hotel panorama was 6 euro each including return. The last night we had a gala dinner at the crazy reindeer which is the main hotel in Levi. Fireworks display after was lovely. You get picked up from your cabin and returned . Would deffo recommend this accommodation for the full effect of Lapland.

We travelled with Tui to these cabins. The cabin was absolutely amazing and I would go back in a heartbeat. The food package when you arrive is great and plenty to last the few days we were there. The cabin was spacious and in a beautiful location. It was quite a long way to walk into the centre of Levi but there is a ski bus you can catch or a taxi will cost about 15euros each way. Eating out in Levi can be quite costly but we had some lovely meals. You can use ski lift in the centre of Levi for free after 7pm when the slopes shut and you can even sledge down the bottom of the slope. The trip to Santa’s village was a lovely day out where we got to have a reindeer ride. The snowmobile trip and visit to the shaman were also good. We paid extra to do the full 5km husky ride instead of just the 2minute tasters. It was well worth the money my girls aged 4&9 loved it too. We did it early evening so it was dark but this just added to the magic. The gala meal was lovely, a very casual affair but nicely done. The clothes etc Tui provide are great. The only downside was the return trip. We chose Levi largely due to the short transfer but Tui picked us up so early. We spent the last day just hanging around. On top of a flight delay this was not great. We then landed in Bristol only to wait ages for the steps to be cleared of snow. Overall fab trips and I would definitely return to the cabins and Levi.

KRT provides nice and warm cabins at 2-3 kms from Levi's town center. A bus can drive you there every 30 minutes until 7 pm. The cabins are very quiet in the middle of the forest (cross country skiing rides are a few minutes from there). Every cabins are well furnished and large enough for 5-6 people. Sauna and fireplace is also included. You can easily cook your meals there. The only improvement would be to provide at least one queen bed and double sheets instead of single beds only. Apart of this minor detail, we had an amazing week there and would probably come back one of these days !

KRT Cabins really exceeded all expectations, especially for the price we paid. The staff were very friendly, efficient and organised with transfers smooth and prompt. Our flight was delayed by 3hrs due to snow but they tracked progress, dealt with our late luggage issue and were ready and waiting to take us straight to the cabin upon arrival. The cabin was spot on. Spacious, clean, well equipped and in a super location. There was a sauna, balcony, clean towels and excellent WiFi. We also got to see the northern lights directly behind the cabin. The bus stop was 10 yards from the front door and Levi town a 25 min walk away. We also walked up the road 5 minutes and found a break in the trees to view the northern lights again on our third day. We fully recommend KRT Cabins and would not hesitate to use them again.
