Bobi Moreno is part of the history of North Kohala. She has been living here almost 40 years and everybody respect and loves her. Staying in her property you will be able to feel such a good energy. The room I stayed was perfect and the host is even better. As she said, in that small part of Kohala there... More

Saying it short, for ones looking for peaceful and authentic stay, far form big resorts, it's the place to go. The guest-house is a really nice and peaceful place, next to the 10 acres forest, we can enjoy the rich fauna and flora of Kohala. Close to Hawi and in a walk distance to the Kapa'au center all we can... More

Intending to stay for only two nights, we ended up staying for four. We were captivated by the beauty and serenity. The location was such that we were able to make it our base as we visited lots of interesting sites on that part of the island. Definitely a unique and positive lodging experience.

The Guesthouse is in a great setting: a wonderful garden with avocado trees, the ocean in the background. The design of the interior of our room was very nice. Furniture and equipment of the room were good, but a little old. You couldn't lock the door, since the rest of a key was stuck in there (obviously someone accidentally broke... More

It was such a pleasure staying at the Kohala Country Adventures Guesthouse among the fruit trees, looking out at the gardens, and listening to the birdsong. Walking up and down the road and exploring from Hawi to the Pololu Valley, I discovered that the birds sang most joyously at Bobi's place. I truly felt I was part of nature in... More

We just really enjoyed the hospitality and warmth of Bobbi Moreno's guesthouse in Kohala. It is easily found just up the street in Kapa au, from the King Kamehameha statue. The place is located on acres of rolling green hillside, and the guesthouse itself is a delight with lots of color and flowers.

We had the garden room. Totally comfy queen size bed, with additional twin available. Fridge, Satt-tv both worked well. Large (long) black jacuzzi tub worked although I was more interested in just stretching out in a big tub. Small table for two looks out into a lazy cow pasture with the ocean looming above the trees, in the distance. Very... More

We ended our visit to the Big Island with a 4 night stay at this guest house. We were in the largest unit and had a wonderful view of Maui from the deck. The sunsets were beautiful and the bird songs in the morning were wonderful. It is very quiet here and we enjoyed our stay. The unit is very... More

Since 2001, Silence and I have left the Colorado in January for a week at a fancy island resort followed by the peace and beauty of the Kahala Country Adventures Guesthouse. Last week we enjoyed Maui’s Grand Hyatt. The previous years included resorts like Kauai’s Princeville, Lanai's Manele Bay, and the Big Island’s Orchid. But we always look forward to... More
