Stayed in the 2bedroom cottage for my sisters wedding in july. The 2 bedroom cottage was great for our family. The shower was big which was nice and the cottage was clean. Very beautiful property. The Lanai was nice. Very quiet place and I will definitely be back in the future when visiting family in kohala. Thanks guys!!!!

Our room was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the location is great close to dining areas as well as a gas station and store. This hotel is a nice place that even if just over night it was nice to runaway to.

We booked this hotel after reading reviews here. Our vacation consisted of a two week trip around the island, staying at 5 different places (Kohala resort, lodge in Volcano, B&B in Hilo...). We decided to stay here for the location and seemingly value price. This place was BY FAR our least favorite accommodation. The rooms are small - we were... More

We decided to stay here after searching for a base for our excursions on this end of the Big Island and reading reviews. It is a very charming, lovingly restored Hawaiian plantation house. The room was clean and well appointed. There are no phones, air conditioners or internet service. This was not a problem for us since we were on... More

Gorgeous, set amongst stunning tropical garden and with spacious comfortable rooms. One of the very best places we've stayed in, for the comfort, seclusion, beauty and helpful owners. Look out for the flags outside the property, and its walking distance or a short drive to local cafes and restaurants.

This is a small cottage style property that is set back on the main road and is actually a little hard to find. I had a large single room with a big comfortable bed and decent bath...everything was very clean. Comfortable temps on this part of the island and slow traffic along with a number of trees with chirping birds... More

Guest house type hotel. Our room was in a new addition that used to be a porch, which is now part of the bathroom :))) Clean, cute room with a view of fruit and palm trees. We even had a small private lanai. On the road to Kuahola Point.

This attractive guest house is set back off the highway so even with the windows open,is relatively quiet. Beautiful large tree out from covered with orchids, several of the rooms are in the main house...ours was in a detached cottage with a shared bath. Simple older plantation style, clean, comfortable bed, oscillating fan (no air conditioning),small tv.,sink in the room. The owner was unsure... More

We saw this place while traveling towards North Kohala. After a couple of bad experiences in other places in the Big Island, we were happy to find this place and sorry we didn't go there earlier! We (2 adults and 1 child) got a cottage with 2 bdrms and one bathroom for only 90$ per night. The place had been... More
