My wife and I spent one night a the Tarraleah Lodge, we had room number seven at the fuction centre end. The room was very large and spacious and the heating was already on when we arrived. We met the owner in the lounge and were offered a complementary wine each and had a pleasent convesation about the history of... More

I needed a few days away to de- stress, a few people had mentioned Tarraleah to me and I am so grateful to them.Within minutes of arriving I felt totally relaxed, could have something to do with the warm welcome from all the friendly staff there and the most stunning views I have ever seen. The accomodation at the Lodge... More

This is one of those places that really exceeds expectation. We were not sure quite what to expect ,the web site promised luxury but the b an b price might of indicated some exaggeration. In the event we were really blown away. Huge room all immaculately presented. Massive bed with balcony that literally overlooked the clouds in the valley below,... More

We went to the Tarraleah Lodge with 6 other couples. We went with Don S. We rented the whole lodge and our experience was wonderful. I don't know what it would be like to rent as one couple, but to rent the whole lodge for 3 nights we got the CHEF. The food was the best we had in 16... More

This is our first trip to Tasmania. The experience at the lodge was fantastic. We went with a large group and were taken care of extremely well. The service and food were impeccable. There were numerous activities as well. I would go back in a heartbeat.

My husband and I booked Tarraleah Lodge as part of a four day anniversary escape to Tasmania in March. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised. It is the first place we have stayed where we can honestly say it exceeded our expectations and is better than "spruced up" internet photos which are normally placed on hotelier's websites. Our only... More

We booked to stay in the Tarraleah lodge over Easter months in advance, had confirmed emails twice! We arrived at the lodge after driving for 2.5 hrs from Launceston to be told that they have "over booked" & did not have our lodge room available anymore!! She claimed she had tried to call us however I had no missed calls... More

We stayed at the Tarraleah Lodge which is part of the Tarraleah Estate over the Australia Day weekend. The Lodge is a luxury 9 bedroom boutique hotel but the estate caters for a variety of guests from campers to dorms and cottages. The Lodge is a fantastic art deco building that has been meticulously restored and is in the best... More

I recently held my wedding at Tarraleah Lodge and I need to say a big thank you to Julian and his staff because they are what made the whole weekend so amazing. My ceremony was held at a local waterfall and the reception at The Edge. My family came from all over Australia and the World and stayed in the... More

We splashed out and booked the Honeymoon Suite at Tarraleah Lodge to celebrate my birthday/Valentine's day and our honeymoon - it turned out to be an absolute disaster and a complete waste of money. This was the most expensive place we stayed on our honeymoon and we expected the customer service and the facilities to live up to the price... More
