We have been in Feb 2009 into a very nice sky holiday in Jasna, Demanovska Dolina.
The resort was recommended as "best skying resort" in Slovakia, and apparently is true. There are 4 main slopes, one of these been "Biela Put", addressed to beginners. The Druzhba (Friendship in Russian) hotel is at the middle of this slope, so the location is the best in Jasna.
We stayed at the 4* section of the hotel and the room was correct. The breakfast was also diversified (continental), general condition of this amenities been as they are presented on their website.
Although we were a bit suspicious about the Russian attitude of the hotel (we read this on a forum), on my opinion this turn on into an advantage (the stuff tried to be quite friendly, which is something in Slovakia ...), so I recommend this hotel for all travellers.
They have 2 restaurants (the best one is the specific Slovakian one), a decent spa center (extra charge), sky amenities, free...
