Reception: when I (business) travel (plane, train, car...) I tend to dress informally. Nonetheless, when I arrived I was profesionally and cordially warmly welcomed and treated as a sincerely welcomed guest. Knowing the Belgian culture to be somewhat "holding back" if not "conservative" if not "somewhat reserved" towards strangers, to my surprise it was Madame de Brouwer (the Hotel Manager)... More

I use this hotel for business travel, as it is conveniently located opposite the railway station . The hotel has an excellent resturant and comfortable rooms. The hotel is situated a short walk from the centre of Halle, where you can find numerous bars and resturants.

it's a friendly little 3-star thing, not bursting with amenities or professionalism, but staff are very friendly though not as much professional in the sense of the word they use it in 5* places :) Breakfast choice was very little, but scrambled eggs with bacon were very tasty. Rooms are small but have nice view. Beds are too soft, much... More

Service was great, let's start with that. However, the food was too complicated, too many different ingredients and tastes on same plate - too many wines - too many different experiences, and not all matching. Congratulation on the n° 2 housewine, that was good, probably the best wine of the whole meal I think they can mae things better by... More

I have traveled around the world and stayed at many hotels, big and small. Les Eleveurs is the finest small hotel I have ever visited. The staff is very friendly, personable, and helpful in every request and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The rates are very reasonable, and included free wireless internet and free... More

The hotel is small, staff very helpfull, conveniently located a few minutes away from the city center. The restaurant is WONDERFULL. The chef (I forgot her name) was named 'Lady chef of the year in 2010'. The restaurant and hotel are family owned.

I have stayed here many nights over the past couple of months and it has never been less than pleasant. Rooms are on the small side but beds are comfortable, bathrooms warm, the staff and owners, without exception, very helpful. Personal service at every level. The restaurant is exceptional (and for the British wallet, exceptionally expensive) but there are lots... More

The staff at the hotel are welcoming and it is helpful that they spoke English as well as a variety of other languages. My room was large enough for two people and consisted of a double bed, a television and a table and chairs. I would have appreciated cable television or perhaps even a sheet to tell me which channels... More
