We had a lovely stay at this campsite,toilet/shower was spotless and the couple that run the site Mike & Sam were lovely.There are pigs,geese, ducks and chickens on the site and you can buy eggs that have been laid by the hens. The site only has five pitches so it is very quiet and the area is quite remote,up a country lane. The nearest town is Launceston or Callington which has a fine chinese restaurant/takeaway called the Red Panda,we had the buffet for a very reasonable £9.99 per head. Pity the weather wasnt kind to us as we would have liked to explore the public footpaths and walks in the area,we only had three good weather days the fortnight we were there! more

Just got back from Little Wenfork camping site just outside Launceston, Cornwall.
A small family run camp site approximately 1 Acre.
Ample room on slightly sloping ground, Very friendly welcome.
You can pictch your tent where you choose, Shower room and toilet facilities were imaculately clean.
Fresh eggs from the chickens were delicous but be warned they are on the large side.
There are 3 Saddle Back pigs on site who were very friendly.
This site is ideally located, about 10 minutes walk down the track is the Springer Spanuel Pub which serves very nice food.
From this location we visited Jamaica Inn, Port Issac, Pol Perro, Looe, Boscastle which were all a short driving distance away. Launceston was a lovely little town to visit with a Tesco just on the outskirts and lots of nice little shops especially the Hardware store on the corner by the arch. If you need anything they will have it.
