We firstly found LaFrancesca in 2006 and after that go there every year. In one word it is a cozy place developed to have a real rest. Houses are simple, very comfortable with great sea view. We drove a long while to get there.....every milestone and every board mile after mile would confidently proclaim that Bonassola is 10 km ahead.......but please don't believe the signs and just enjoy the drive. Tucked away on a small hill with the cottages facing the sea......this place is worth every penny. But book it only if you have a car... more
I successfully booked this hotel online. However, the hotel had put rooms up online that were over booked and wrote me saying basically they did not have a room for me. We stayed at La Francesca for 4 nights in order to visit the Cinque Terra.. We found the accomodation nice, reasoable for the price, clean with great views.
