Dear All, Sorry to have to write a bad review about Leela Cottages - but here goes - we booked Fort Antiqua (don't waste your money) and, aside from it's appalling layout (mentioned in some other reviews here), there was a colony of ants in the bathroom which had obviously been there for some time. We complained, they cleaned it... More

Just back from a Yoga retreat hosted by our brillant Yoga Guru. The yoga studio is well equipped and has a spiritual feel, you have an option of closing all the windows and doors to have a more private and less evasive practice, or keeping them open for a more public contribution of your music and practice. The windows are... More

Fresh back from a yoga retreat hosted by Leela Cottages I'd like to give you some feedback about the place - The yoga studio is well equipped and spacious - Organisation at Leela Cottages was chaotic, not helped by the owner going on holiday on the Tuesday after we arrived. There was another yoga group there at the same time... More

The grounds were fantastic and thanks to a wonderful yoga teacher so was the week of yoga. The food was also very pleasing. I was sharing the deluxe cottage with a friend. Thankfully the bed was big enough for us to share, as sleeping in the room above would have been dangerous, since the loo was in the lower room... More

We stayed in the White Feather cottage, situated in the cool leafy coconut grove surroundings, literally just a minutes walk from the beach. We thought the location was great and the Indian food in the restaurant is spectacular. The best dal fry in Ashwem (and we tried this a lot !). Very good fish curry also and the Paneer 65... More

Thanks for reviewing Leela Cottages. We will keep on our efforts to give the guests a pleasant and memorable stay. As far as the loud music is concerned it is shameful that some of these beach clubs are spoiling the calm ambiance at Ashwem. We are trying to get the music intensity from these clubs controlled by 10 PM. More

We had a lovely time at the Leela Cottages and staff went out of their way to accommodate the needs of our large group. The cottages were basic but well presented and spacious. We ate two fabulous dinners here and my boyfriend is still raving about the king fish and prawns. I think as the season gets in to full... More

If you ever want to get away from a bustling life and enjoy Goan beaches, this is the place to go. Staff is super friendly, the Indian food that is prepared is truly magnificent (although western food can be ordered as well, the menu is balanced). The owner Ravi is always prepared to help out or provide sound advice. The... More

When we got to the cottages, we had two. Mine had a faulty air conditioner and at 95F outside, it was unbearable. Ravi was great about scrambling to get me a new cottage as fast as possible! My new cottage was cool and immaculate, with excellent hot and cold running water. My only gripe is that the beds were quite... More
