I recommend this hotel as a way to treat yourself at the end of a Costa Rican trip! The pools were plentiful, large and relaxing to lounge around in (great fun for the kids). Stayed for 6 nights in mid-May and were pleasantly surprised at how friendly and helpful the staff were. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel seems to spend a lot of time cleaning and updating.
