This is by far the best cottage we have stayed in. A very warm welcome, an immaculate cosy cottage with an enormous comfortable bed and huge fluffy bath sheets. The provison of breakfast ingredients was superb, we know the area so were thrilled to see the sausages and bacon was from the local butchers and the free range eggs from... More

We only stayed one night, would have loved to stay longer. The cottage was warm and welcoming, the decor was very tasteful and we were so comfortable. The breakfast supplied exceeded our expectations. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. More

We stayed in the Railway Cottage, my husband, 2 sons and myself. We were visiting family nearby and this was the perfect place. The cottage is lovely, light and airy with plenty of room. Great kitchen, bathroom, lovely large double bedroom with lots of storage and a really beautiful lounge/dinner area. When we arrived Cathy had already put two beds... More

My whole family stayed in these cottages before my daughter's wedding at nearby Cooling Castle Barn. The cottages are perfect!! We hired the two storey cottage for the groomsmen and the Railway Cottage for the bride, myself and the bridesmaids. It reall was the most wonderful place to stay before a wedding and I would thoroughly recommend this to any... More

Me and my wife had a lovely weekend here. We stayed in the Railway cottage, and it was fabulous. We were looked after from the moment we made the reservation, until the moment we left the cottage. It was my wifes birthday, and she was very happy when we entered the cottage, and there was party ballons and fresh fruit... More

This self catering B&B cottage overlooking a green Kentish valley in the countryside was perfect for our family of 4. We received a warm welcome from our host Cathy and their lovely dog Bernie. We stayed in "the Chickenshed", a light stylish renovated barn with the kitchen cupboards and fridge full of supplies to prepare our own traditional English breakfast.... More

We had the absolute delight to stay at The Chicken Shed for the month of July 2011. This accommodation is second to none, and that is the beginning. Arriving with two children from Australia, one with special needs, Cathy was very conscious of our need to let our daughter to have some space to settle down after our long flight.... More

We stayed at the Railway Cottage. From start to finish, this was a nice relaxing visit. The accommodation had everything one would expect from a bed and breakfast, plus lots more. The fresh flowers, fruits, biscuits and drinks were a lovely touch. There was even spare toothbrushes provided which was fantastic for me as I had forgotten mine. The couple... More
