This is a bed and breakfast establishment with a real attention to detail. Tea and delicious home made cake were provided on arrival. A biscuit and special rug were given to our dog Ben. We stayed in beautifully decorated rooms with fresh flowers, sweets and and even a fluffy dressing gown! Breakfast came with a flavouring of herbs. All these... More

In the past year, we have spent over 30 nights in B&B's on the SW Coast Path. Dolphin House is one of our top two. Emma is the most friendly and helpful host you could ever wish to meet; even taking us to and from Perranporth, which enabled us to stay two nights - a real bonus! The accommodation was... More

If I could give it more than 5 out of 5 I would. A wonderful, homely and pleasant place to stay. Emma and Dickon were extremely welcoming and there was no worries when ice was requested for an ice bath after a hard days running along the coastal path! So many small touches which made the stay very enjoyable. The... More

Dolphin house was excellent. Emma couldn't have done more for us and I'm happy to give her the max rating. She really went out of her way, especially after we were caught in the worst weather for years. Our gear was dry for us in the morning too so no miserable start! I would also have mentioned Ralph who's a... More

We stayed for one night whilst walking the Coastal path. We were made to feel extremely welcome by Emma and Dicken and they were very kind and helpful in every way ( even picking us up from an agreed location on the path and taking us back the next day). Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The breakfast was... More

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the Coast Path (the B&B is right on the path as soon as you come down the hill into Portreath). Dickon and Emma were very welcoming (even though Emma was a little under the weather); we were greeted with a cup of tea and Emma's superb cakes. The place was spotless, superbly... More

Beautiful room, comfortable bed, fantastic shower in the bathroom, everywhere spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. Excellent breakfasts. Great location just a couple of minutes walk from the beach or the beautiful views from the headland. All these things would make for a great B&B. But what takes Dolphin House to the next level is just how welcoming Emma and Dickon... More

We all loved our stay at Dolphin House! We had the best welcome from Emma, Dickon and Ralph (one of the three very nice hosts!). Beautiful location along the coast overlooking the bay and really comfortable accomodation, very clean, modern and well maintened. Also a good pub within walking distance. Perfect location to visit wonderful Cornwall.
