Chillies Granary is in a lovely spot near Ashdown forest. My room wasn't large, but very clean nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The building itself has a lot of character. The owners were very welcoming and friendly but not intrusive. The only minor drawbacks were the lack of tea-making facilites in the room ( although there is a kitchenette for guests on the ground floor). They only serve a 'continental' breakfast, to be fair this was explained to me when I booked, and they willingly obtained ingredients for my specific dietary requirements.
To summarise a delightful place which providing you don't mind going downstairs for your early morning cuppa, and aren't wedded to the 'full English' I would certainly recommend. more
