My husband and I had a wonderful stay here a few nights ago. The cottage is beautiful and full of character. The room was lovely with a very comfy bed we both had an excellent nights sleep! Ted & Maggie were very friendly & helpful. We spent two nights in a very comfrotable room with excellent facilities. I highly recommend this lovely B & B.

Ted and Maggie make you feel very welcome, nothing is to much bother.The cottage has a lovely ambiance. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, would definitely recommend this as a place to stay .

“Excellent stay in great B & B”

Stayed as family with 3 kids across two rooms at Hill Cottage. Both well furnished, very comfortable, great bathrooms. Good hosts with absolutely first class breakfast. Pub right next door (not noisy) and another very close by serving good value meals. Would recommend to couples or other families.

“A nice place - and close to "Saxophone Mecca"”

We had chosen Hill Cottage due to the proximity of "sax.co.uk" - indeed there is a footpath and you can walk directly to buy your saxophone! To note that the area (Ashdown Forest) is "Winnie the Pooh" country! Ted and Maggie are very friendly and helpful. The house is historic, neat and the bathroom has been refurbished recently.
