Enjoyed a large balcony seaside-great view of the chuckeys launching into the sea in the early am. Outstanding restaurant and first class breakfast. Don't go for the nightlife - this is relaxation. more

I stayed at the Arniston hotel with my wife and 13 month old son this weekend, and was pleasantly surprised. From the outside, the hotel facade looks a bit dull, but the terraces with ocean views creates a very nice atmosphere. Rooms have every amenity you can think of. This hotel is 100% child friendly, with friendly, well trained staff... more

I stayed at this hotel while travel with a tour group through Globus. This was the second hotel that we stayed and I found it to be perfectly charming. The rooms were very neat, comfortable, and cozy. I had a balacony that looked over the center pool and courtyard area. The ocean was right in front of the hotel and... more

Nice hotel for such a small town. The bathrooms were very nice and roomy. The room itself was pretty standard but nothing noteworthy in a bad way. Nice breakfast and nice dinner restaurant. Rooms could have done with air con. more

The hotel has grown since we last visited - a new storey, a spa, a verandah addition to the dining room, but these additions have only added to its attractiveness; it seems to have raised its game in terms of ambiance, 'exclusivity' and staff attitude. Much of this, I think, is down to the new manager who manages to combine... more

We had a smashing 2 night stay here in April. The hotel has been well refurbished and looks very smart now. It, obviously, has a great location just seconds from the sea, with views down the coast and to the old Fisherman Cottages. Really recommend getting the Spa treatments, Nolene and her team are great! The food in the restaurant... more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in early Feb as part of our garden route holiday. First impressions as you round the corner towards the hotel is one of amazement as all you can see is the Indian Ocean a brilliant blue in front of you. We were lucky to have one of the sea facing rooms which... more

Myself and my husband chanced upon this village by accident and fell in love with it immediately upon turning a corner and seeing the Indian Ocean sweeping in to the shore, metres short of this hotel. The hotel was exactly what we wanted. A big room with two verandas (Room 129) overlooking the pool area. The staff and service was... more

We loved the hotel. Last time we stayed in a small B and B in Arniston but realized this time that you cannot beat this hotel in Arniston. It is one of the best we have stayed in all of South Africa. Very polite and helpful staff, wonderful food at the restaurant, and awesome views from our sea-facing room. Just... more
