Spent three nights here. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful - at reception, in the bar and restaurant, and at the spa. Our room was very spacious and overlooked the pond on the golf course (glorious sunrises). Toiletries, iron, kettle, tea and biscuits all provided. No safe, though, which was a bit odd. The only down-side... More

Do not let the previous reviews put you off. I stayed in the hotel on 13.02.12 and have to say it was everything that we wanted. It cost £75 per room which included Breakfast for two. The Spa area was excellent once again do bear in mind this is not an expensive hotel to stay in. The Spa had a... More

Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Apologies for the maintenance work in the restaurant, we had it completed that day in time for Valentines. You are correct in saying there are no time restrictions on using the health club and spa facilities. You are welcome to stay in there all day if... More

We loved our ground floor room which was large with a very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Room service was good too. The bar area is very welcoming and staff were extremely helpful and polite. Our 2 disappointment were the restaurant which was very slow, over priced and cold. Different staff who were uninterested and absent most of the time.... More

My husband, 2 year old and I went for a short stay primarily for the spa and some country air. The spa was great and staff were very helpful. Kids swimming is limited, which is fair. Rooms were modest-we had a terrible view but bedding was comfy and a nice cot was set up. Dinner was a positive highlight-lovely food-seabass... More

I recently spent three nights here as part of a business trip with a number of other people. I stay in hotels often and think that the distinction between the poor or average and the good is usually attributable to attention to detail and staff. This hotel did not score well on either count. In a practical sense, for business... More

This hotel is down a set of country lanes in the middle of the countryside. The hotel has been thoughtful enough to put up signage to direct you as you approach the hotel, which is essential if you use a satnav as entering their postcode takes you to their deliveries area on the other side of the premises, not the... I booked through Booking.com and when we arrived they had no record of us on system. The reference number put this right but then the receptionist accused me of changing the date. NOT SO! Not very welcoming. Booking.com usually very good, but even if there had been a mistake, they could have been more helpful. Not a good start. We... More

I received a spa break as a gift at the Bicester Hotel, Golf, and Spa. The hotel is nice and the spa treatment was really good. The disorganization made my "relaxing" weekend not so relaxing. I was booked in for a package but the only appointment I had was for the spa treatment. Everything else (dining reservations, what days I... More

We were looking for somewhere to stay for one night while shopping at nearby Outlet Village. A great hotel - albeit a lot of golf types in bar - a great spa and reasonable food. Only 75 quid for the night. A bargain. Basic rooms are ample, clean and better than most at this price. More

The point of our visit was a night off from 3 year old twins and the rare opportunity of an undisturbed night's sleep and even a lie in ( our 365days a year routine is a 6am start, including weekends, as the kids are too young to understand that mum and dad need a rest !) So we booked BHGS... More
