We stayed at this hotel as part of the Chiang Mai - Luang Prabang slow boat package. The place itself is quite nicely maintained, although with the package we were allocated a tiny dark room with no air con or bathroom, so we paid 300B to upgrade. However, what really ruined the stay for us, and left me very upset,... More

As I said above ,could not find any positive, no probably the fact that they had a pool and charged the customer 50 bht hour to swim was probably the only positive, Oh yes has TV but no reception. and if you decide to do a slow boat trip attach to your room be prepared to pay top dollar for... Stayed here on a slow boat package deal. The food provided wasn't that great and the charge you extra for anything they can (pool usage, towels, etc). We upgraded to a air con room (overpriced), but had TV and a spacious bathroom. This place is decent for a one night stay before heading into Laos.

My brother in law got us the Thai rate which was about $20 for the night. The price was right but if I had paid more I would not be very happy. The walls are paper thin. I could here my brother in law snoring in the next room. The bathroom is in your room but you have to access... More

Like most people, I stayed here en route from Chiang Mai to the slow boat that takes you down the Mekong River to Laos. The room was spacious and seemed clean - it wasn't very well lit. The bathroom is in the back of the room and does not have glass paned windows, but the windows do have screens on... More

Stayed one night as part of a three day trip from Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang. Accomodation is quite basic but fine. Comfortable bed, hot shower. Food here was quite good. You are required to pay to use the pool and for towels...so maybe the word "resort" not appropriate! We paid US$10 EXTRA to avoid the crowds the next day... More

We stayed here as part of a package on the slow boat down to Laos. I'll start off by saying this place is not as bad as other reviews make out. We found the staff to be ok, not overly chatty but they where dealing with around 50 peoples visas. Maybe we caught them on a good day. This guesthouse... More

Luckily I only had to stay here one night. We crossed the border in the early evening and there isn't much of a choice in terms of reasonably priced good hotels in the area. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much before seeing the hotel and when we arrived, it actually looked pretty good. I was wrong. We got our... More

We stayed here for 1 night as part of a G Adventure tour (enroute to Laos). I didn't deal with the staff or eat at the hotel so I can't comment on those. Pros: - nice grounds, lots of greenery - large common area with multiple tables - very nice looking pool area, an extra 50 baht to use the... More

The worst part about this place is the staff....sooooo rude! Every single one of them. And there isnt anything that can be done. They will remain fully booked as long as these tours through to Laos keep using them. Beds are horrible, you can feel every spring in your back. Food is below average, they couldn give a s*#@ really.... More
