Excellent place. Don't stay anywhere else! Rama and his wife make you feel at home and the surrounding forest is inviting for an early morning or late night walk to spot some animals. Its right on the border to the Sanctuary. Simply beautiful.

This homestay is on the border between Thamil Nadu and Kerala, the last one, but still walkable distance to the centre. Absolute highlight was taking breakfast on the terrace and observing the monkeys. One can share the food with them.

Jungle view is probably the best choice amongst the large homestay offers in kumily. We were there with our 3 children to visit Periyar, for 2 nights, and everything was great. This homestay was located in a quiet spot literally on the edge of the jungle. We stayed two nights and Rama was extremely helpful organising us a good rickshaw driver to get us around and provide other local tips. We really appreciated getting breakfast early both mornings. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
