I've stayed at the Falkenstein Kempinski several times and it is consistently excellent. It's a grand old structure, with modern and tastefully appointed rooms. Service is outstanding. The on site restaurant is also excellent. As others have noted the view down the hill to Frankfurt is stunning.

This is my 3rd stay at the hotel....the staff are really attentive, charming and really polite. Really peaceful, stayed in the main building each time: rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Gym is adequate, outdoor heated pool really nice and the food is really very nicely done. Nice bar too. Definitely would recommend for a quiet getaway or on business.

As a business hotel, this is perhaps the best location if you need to be close to Falkenstein or Konigstein or the businesses in this area. Opted to upgrade to a suite with a special rate of $540.00 aust. but did not realise it would nearly be a mini apartment. Lovely hotel and staff with beautiful gardens. Breakfast buffet is plentyful with all of the standard options including made to order eggs, waffles etc. Fantastic view of Frankfurt city skyline and forest. Rooms are spacious, clean and free wifi throughout the hotel.
