This hotel is well situated for all the main attractions of Vila Real with shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is modern, staff helpful and rooms well appointed. See their website for more details. At the front it is situated back from the road and at the rear overlooks a small gorge so has pleasant views.on this side so do request one. The restaurant also faces this way as does the sunbathing terrace. There is an underground car park available free on a first come first serve basis but there was no problem finding a space whilst we were there.

Each room has a balcony but unfurnished so it means dragging chairs out of the room if you want to sit there. Service in the restaurant at night was a bit slow on the one occasion we tried it due to a coach party arriving at about the same time.

Overall, though, it is a thoroughly comfortable hotel for businessman and tourist alike. more
