My son and I stayed for two nights in this hotel to attend to a Man Utd match in Old Trafford. The staff were wonderful and helpful in every way. We were in room 11 which was quite a big room and clean. Although the hotel is a bit dated it didnt matter to us as it was comfortable and...

After reading some of the reviews on here I was a little worried about the hotel but we needn't have been! The lady, on arrival, was very nice and not only pointed us in the right direction for food she also came outside to show us the path to take. The barman was also lovely when we came back. On...

This hotel although a little dated, offered me such care & concern for my health, as I took ill whilst staying . Their care & attendance was a whole lot more than I think I could expect from some of your more up-market establishments where one is just another resident with whom they don't "get involved". I was treated to...

We stayed for a weekend and from outside looked nice, that's where the illusion ended. Room was dated and would of been circa 1984 Paper thin walls and the room had two differnt carpets on the floor Could go on but get worked up just thinking bout it. It wasn't cheap either
we stayed one night with tickets for the following days match. The hotel is in an ideal location for shops, food, pubs and the grounds. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Room 2 was big, clean and recenty decorated. This is a beautifull building that looks like its in the process of being updated. But for the price payed it was definatly...

There has been a lively debate going on an Tripadvisor as to if this place is good or bad? Having been there, I understand both points of view. I liked it though: the nearby tram stop (with a very nice pub opposite the stop, and some shops further down the road to the right), the hotel bar, the beautiful facade,...

This hotel and the staff are brilliant. Me and my partner stayed in room 30 at the top, and our friends in room 34 in the 'cottage' and between us four there were no issues at all. If anything for the price we paid it was too good. As a budget hotel it is super, we were pre warned about...

My husband and I came to stay at old Trafford Hall Hotel after traveling from the United States to see a Manchester United match. The stadium is literally within walking distance from the hotel so that is convenient. The hotel is extremely extremely extremely rustic. However the hotel staff was phenomenally helpful. If you are looking for a place to...

The rating is nothing to do with the staff who were very helpful and friendly. If you want somewhere to sleep which is cheap close to the center of things this is the place for you. Do not expect anything more you will be disapointed. The building itself is old and the rooms are out dated but we had a...
