My partner had booked this travelodge for a christmas present for both of us. We paid the cancellation fee as I didnt know if I could get the time off work. On our journey there the weather was snowing horrendously causing us to have a minor accident. As we rang up at 12:30pm we were told that we couldnt get... more

Ok so if you've stayed in a Travelodge before you'll know what to expect: basic rooms, good prices, no frills. It slightly differed from other travelodges I've stayed in before as the room seemed very large (although little furniture) and there was no bar or cafe, just a reception desk. We chose to stay here rather than other Manchester Travelodges... more

We went here back in 2007 when it was first open. it was close to the trafford centre shopping. It was clean and tidy but was very new at the time. We went as we were going to see Man Utd play, we thought it was a bargain as we booked well early and it cost us£19 for a family... more

The best thing about this Travelodge is the convenient location. Easily accessed from the M60, the hotel only about 2 minutes’ drive from the Trafford Centre (fantastic shopping centre with some great restaurants too!), and also next to the Chill Factor (indoor ski slope with more restaurants!). The Trafford Centre also has a cinema, so there are plenty of facilities... more

I know it's cheap and I was expecting it to be basic, but I also expected it to be clean. There was hairs on the toilet when I arrived, I had to ask for the linen to make up the sofa bed for the children although I had booked for 2+2. There was cobwebs on the ceiling and when I... more

We needed a nights accomadation prior to an early flight from Manchester and noting that the hotel was only 7 miles from the airport decided to have a look at their web site . The double room cost us £19 ( YES NINETEEN POUNDS ). It was clean and very basic but did exactly what we wanted it to do... more

I really don't understand why people slate the basic-ness of a Travelodge - that's the whole point! and paying £50 for a night in a hotel so close to some amazing attractions in a CITY... well I think it's good value. You're right - you're not going to get a 4 poster bed, Sky TV on a 42" flatscreen, room... more

Not gonna go into great detail as its just a Travelodge. Good clean, spacious rooms in a fairly new hotel. Free parking and good location for the Trafford Centre/Old Trafford etc. I used this as a stopoff for the night after a late flight back from Cyprus. Did not get there until after midnight. I could not find it as... more

I booked this hotel at the last minute on the saturday night before a match was taking place at the Old Trafford. I had missed my last train so had no choice but to stay. Having enquired everywhere else, all hotels were fully booked for the night so went on the Travelodge website and found a room for 66GBP which... more
