We stayed for two nights as part of an organised walking holiday and arrived, pretty tired, after a 20km walk from Spoleto along medieval paths and high passes, like a couple of pilgrims. This was truly a unique experience. The monastery has been beautifully made into a hotel. It is very tranquil with wonderful views. The rooms are unique and clean. A very restful place from which it is easy to take day trips in Umbria. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent also. The people there were most accomodating and helpful. more

Arriving at this 14th Century form Abbey you are treat with the most awesome of views from the lawn area over the Valderrina wooded valley. Only one desolate abbey interupts the steep slopes.
