Nice place to go for a drink or dinner but not the best place to stay. Its very very rural and takes about half hour until you get to the main road. Close to the ferry for skye. More

We stayed in a cottage in Glenelg village and visited the Inn for drinks and dinner a couple of times. The first evening we received a very offhand welcome; the landlord and barman spent all their time looking gloomy, ignoring their guests and watching the tv in the bar. We visited this place in May 2010. The food was extremely good and the owners let us pitch a tent in the garden as there were no rooms available. The dining area and bar are extremely cosy and the service was great. I look forward to going back to this place in the future. More

Family and friends all stayed at the Glenelg Inn for the weekend of our wedding. Sheila was the perfect host and not surprisingly the wedding went without a hitch.
