One of the very best, very helpful, great room, great location. For this quality a great price too. I particularly appreciated the temperature controlled soaking tub in our private bathroom. I would strongly recommend Watanabe Inn for those who are looking for the real ryokan experience. .

All previous reviews are correct. This is a wonderful place with great atmosphere. The quiet magic of the island, once the daytrippers and masses of tourists have returned to the mainland, is best enjoyed from this ryokan. Only three rooms! The food is very impressive.
