We spent one week end of July with our two children (9 and 5). This is one of the best holiday hotels I ever visited. If you want to spend a holiday in a comortable well-equipped hotel without feeling like a sardine in a can, this is the perfect place.
The setting is fantastic. It is a nice old building near the sea in a big domain. The 'potager', a beautiful garden in front of the hotel gives the whole setting an extremely peaceful character. My oldest daughter spent hours with the animals that they keep on the other side of the hotel. She became huge friends with the donkey. The swimming pool is comfortably warm and spacious. The coastline in the direction of Pornic is beautiful with some very charming beach.
We had a room on the ground floor which had a small private garden in front of it which we enjoyed a lot. We had two separate rooms (of which one also served as a living room) and a bathroom. Don't expect big luxury but nice French country style decoration. The room... more
