Neil Kedward and Zoe Agar have done a remarkable job in converting this derelict 18th century country house into a splendid small hotel, or restaurant with rooms as they prefer to call it. The rooms are spacious and supremely comfortable, the bathrooms spotless and well-equipped and the bar and lounge areas warm and welcoming: just the places to relax with... more

We did a recce over the Summer when we were staying somewhere else in Pembrokeshire, and vowed that we would find an opportunity to return to the Grove. We treated ourselves to one night in the best room, and we weren't disappointed. The room was lusious and stylish, finished to a very high spec. The bathroom was grand and the... more

The Grove provided just the remedy for the appalling November weather with open fires, dark hardwood panelling and well thought out soft furnishings. Our suite was simple yet elegant with an extremely comfortable bed and a good coherence to the design. The bathroom had classic fittings and the underfloor heating was an excellent addition. We had pre-ordered the three course... more

I love the welcome here. When we arrived, we were shown to our room, and escorted around the main building so that we could get our bearings. Then it was an offer of drinks at the bar, in the cosy lounge, where you can mingle with others, or keep yourself to yourself up in the library. The rooms are tastefully... more

Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Grove and the owners have created a real gem here. One of the unique things about the grove is that it is as appealing to stay here in the winter months as it must be in the summer. With its grand log fires, big church candles and elegant interior it felt like... more

If, like us, you enjoy the option of flexibility, the cottages at The Grove are perfect. We stayed for 4 nights and utilised the hotel restaurant on two of these. In "Peak View" cottage we had a first class kitchen which gave us the option of cooking breakfast or evening meals whilst the option of breakfast at the hotel is... more

Arrived November early evening dusk, the house was glowing in this rural setting to a warm welcome and a pleasant surprise of an upgrade to the Tannery Suite. Tastefully recently converted with oak doors and floors and quality fittings, a very comfortable King sized bed, leather settees, a woodburning stove and patio doors opening onto a terrace. Comfortable well-stocked lounge... more

Fabulous hotel, excellent food, lovely welcome by the owners. We stayed at The Grove for our anniversary and had a wonderful stay. There is great attention to detail, beautiful decor and attentive staff. The Grove is also in a lovely setting surrounded by countryside. We were impressed. more
